  6. DESCRIPTION

  8. UClock is a fully-configurable, digital clock and timer for Windows 3.1
  9. or higher.  Would you like a big clock that you can see on a laptop?
  10. Would you like a tiny clock that you can stick in some out-of-the
  11. way corner?  Then UClock is for you!  The clock and/or timer may be
  12. displayed any size, in any color and using any font.  The time and/or
  13. date may be displayed in a variety of formats and styles. The clock
  14. and/or timer may be forced to stay in front of other windows so you
  15. can always find them.  UClock will operate correctly on monochrome and
  16. color monitors.  And UClock uses very little memory. What more could
  17. you ask?

  21. INSTALLATION

  23. Copy the files:
  24.  UCLOCK.EXE
  25.  UCLOCK.HLP
  26. to any directory where you like to keep your stuff.  The other files
  27. are optional and may be deleted.  However, you might like to save
  28. README.TXT (this file) and/or ORDER.TXT for future reference.  UClock
  29. may be started by running UCLOCK.EXE or by choosing UCLOCK.EXE from
  30. the File Manager.

  33. UClock may be added as an icon to a Program Manager group. In Program
  34. Manager, click the "File" menu option, then "New", then select
  35. "Program Item" and enter UCLOCK.EXE with its full path as the new item.
  36. If you have a "Startup" group, adding UClock there will cause it to run
  37. every time Windows starts up.

  39. Once UClock is running, you may bring up the configuration-panel at
  40. any time by left-clicking on the clock or timer face.  The clock or
  41. timer may be moved by moving the mouse to the clock or timer face,
  42. holding down the left mouse button, and dragging the mouse.
  43. Double-left-clicking on the clock or timer face will cause it to
  44. terminate.

  50. This program is shareware.  You may evaluate it for no more than
  51. 30 days.  After this time, you must either register UClock or remove
  52. it from your system.  Failure to comply with this condition is a
  53. violation of U.S. and international copyright law.

  57. REGISTRATION

  59. UCLOCK may be registered by mail.  UCLOCK may also be registered online
  60. by Compuserve users by GOing SWREG (Registration ID 3488).  Upon
  61. receipt of your payment, you will be supplied with a "Validation Code".
  62. This code is entered into the program along with the "Registration Name"
  63. of your choice.  The "Registration Name" and "Validation Code" are
  64. entered by selecting "Register" from the configuration-panel's
  65. main menu.

  67. Benefits of registering UClock:
  68. 1) The nag screen will no longer appear when the program exits
  69. 2) Your "Registration Name" will appear in place of <Unregistered copy>
  70.    on the configuration-panel.
  71. 3) Your "Registration Name" and "Validation Code" will be valid for
  72.    ALL future updates of UClock forever.  The price may go up, but
  73.    all future versions of UClock are yours for free.  Future versions
  74.    will be made readily available for download.  You should be able to
  75.    find them the same place you found your current copy of UClock.
  76. 4) Suggestions by registered users will be incorporated into future
  77.    versions of UClock.
  78. 5) Registering supports the shareware system (including shareware
  79.    authors).

  82. 1) Selecting Help on the configuration-panel's menu and selecting
  83.    "Order Form"
  84. 2) Printing file ORDER.TXT
  85. If you do not have a printer, be sure to include all of the
  86. information requested in the order form with your check or money order.
